hey george , i will be playing edmond fitgerald with the capo in the second fret, what key harp should i get…. thanks.. i left you a nice comment on youtube

    1. George

      Hi Barry,
If you are using the capo on the second fret, then you have raised the pitch of the song a whole tone.
Without the capo, I used a D harmonica. A whole tone above that is E.
So use an E harmonica with the tabs I showed and the capo on the second fret.
      Thanks, George

Great lessons, and now, great performance put together! George, you always make it look so easy. This is jut as good as the original, especially as just a one-man show.

I mentioned your greatness in the description box of my newest video. A collaborated cover of Springsteen’s cover of Dylan’s ‘I want You’…I played a little harmonica at the begining to match the accordian, and I said that I watch you to learn harmonica. Check it when you can. Hope all is well on Vancouver Island.
